God can change your story
From the very beginning, God has always been in the business of changing people’s stories positively. Joseph had his story changed from a slave boy to a Prime Minister in Egypt. Moses had his story changed from a fugitive to a great leader. Hannah’s story of barrenness was changed to fruitfulness. The same goes for Sarah and Rachel. Peter and John were mere fishermen but became men of renown even with their lack of adequate education. The woman with the issue of blood for 12 years encountered the Lord Jesus and had her story changed. The list is endless. God is still in the business of changing stories today. He has not changed. This is what he said of Himself.
Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
The stories you are about to read are genuine. If you have any doubt, we can arrange for you to meet any of the persons face to face. As a matter of fact, if you come to our church you will meet with as many as you want. Many more cannot be printed for lack of space. Interestingly all the stories took place in 2009.

Testimonies
Miraculous healing from Cancer
I have a son of about a year old that was having a tumour in his head and it was diagnosed as cancer. It was growing inward into the brain as well as growing out physically. He was always in and out of Hospital and the situation was traumatizing for him, my husband and I.
It got to a time that he needed chemotherapy to stop the cancer. Operating it was too dangerous according to the doctors. The treatment was to take 51 weeks, which is a week short of a year. Within the first 8 weeks, my boy could not continue with the treatment. The medication was too strong for him by reason of his age. We needed divine intervention. Our Pastor visited us while in Hospital and declared that it will end up in a testimony and that the name of the Lord shall be glorified. He prayed for healing for my son.
As much as I could, I was always in church and in November 2009, we had a prayer conference and my greatest heart desire was for God to heal my son. We went for another test a few days after the Prayer conference and we just got the result. My son is completely healed and the growth has disappeared to the glory of the Lord. Even the doctors are amazed. Surely God is in this place. We have experienced His wonders. Praise the Lord

Healed of 30 years High blood pressure
I had high blood pressure for 30 years. I had gone every where possible. I had been to several hospitals. As a Christian, I had been prayed for in so many places. I came to the conclusion that this ailment was part of my life. I was on daily medical drugs.
Few months ago, I came to Cape Town to visit my son and his family. They are members of this church. In one of the Sunday services, the pastor asked every one that has a terminal sickness or a negative medical report to come out to be prayed for. We were prayed for and anointed with oil. That was when the great physician visited me. From that day I stopped taking my drugs. I am completely healed.

Academic Excellence
I have always dreamt of winning an academic award for some years. No matter how hard I tried, it has always eluded me. At a point my parents stopped going with me for prize giving day at the end of every academic season.
However being a member of Rising Sun Ministries changed my perspectives. I came to a conclusion that it was a matter of time. I knew I would achieve this dream for I can do all things through Christ.
At one of the prayer conferences, my heart desire was the fulfillment of my academic excellence dream and it was one of my prayer requests. At the end of the 2009 academic session I invited my parent to the prize giving day. Reluctantly, they agreed to go with me. Praise God I won an award to God’s glory and to the joy of my parents. I praise God for this ministry.

Miracle healing
I have a son in Zimbabwe who had an acute pile. Each time he goes to the toilet, the rectum (anus) comes out and it has to be pushed back by hands. He could not start school with his mates. It was such an ugly and painful experience for us. My son needed surgery. The first stage was to be done in Zimbabwe and the second and final stage was to be done in South Africa. Finance was also a challenge. I have been praying about this even before I became a member of this church. By the time I began to hear what God was doing in this church I came to see our Pastor. He prayed for my son and assured me from the bible that God will perfect it. I stand to testify today that God is still working miracles. My son is completely healed without surgery but by the hand of God. Praise the Lord with me.

Lost car found after 11 months
I am in transport business. I have meter taxis. One of my brother gave me one of his cars to be used as a meter taxi on loan. The driver disappeared with the car in January 2009. The rumour was that I stole the vehicle. All hope was lost because the police did their best to no avail. In one of his teachings, our Pastor said that if we partner with God whatever we are looking for will be added to us by God. I believed that word and began to partner with God as much as I could. Brothers and sisters, God is here. Only fools will doubt proofs. In November, I got a call from Pretoria. The car has been recovered. It was recovered in Botswana. I give God all the glory. He has justified me.

Job Provision
I relocated from Johannesburg to Cape Town in the first week of November 2009. I needed a job and I trusted God for one. I had also taken a loan from the previous place I worked in Johannesburg. Meeting Pastor Robert in Cape Town was all I needed to boost my faith. He was my Pastor in Kinshasa and hence I am aware of the grace of God upon his life. I became a member of this church immediately. The teachings were inspiring, reassuring and faith lifting. If you want to know God intimately through his word and if you desire to be blessed by Him, this is the place to be. Within a month of my arrival, I got a fantastic job. Miraculously I was called from Johannesburg that whatever I owed has been converted to a gift. To God be all the glory. I am confident of the presence of God here

Sometimes ago I lost my Job. I needed one. When I became a member of this church
I knew I was in the right place. Going to church became so interesting. I could not
afford to miss any service. God’s presence, the pastor’s teaching and the atmosphere
of love was to too much to be missed. Hence I desired from God to give me a job that
would make me have time to be in the Church services. I got some jobs, and honestly
turned them down because of their conflict with the times of Church services. Beloved,
God has given a good job that makes it possible to be in all the services. You cannot
be in this church and not be blessed.

Wonder Job Testimony

When I was three months pregnant, I could not cope with my job and I had to resign. This was a year and nine months ago. I went out of the country to have my baby.
About three months ago, I decided to dust my CV and look for a job again. However my dream job was the very job I left one year and nine months ago. I believed God for it. I dropped my CV in many other places but my heart was panting after my previous job. By the time I got there to drop my CV, the old management had been sacked and replaced with a new one. Everything was new. I dropped the application all the same and left. The word of God from this altar built my faith. When the pastor asked us to pray for one thing in one of our meetings, the return to my old job was it.
Few days ago, the Lord remembered me to prove His faithfulness. I was called for an interview. I attended the interview and signed the contract to resume work within five days from then. One thing I am too sure of is that it is the doing of the Lord who is at work here. I want to appreciate God and His servant for his teachings in this place. To God be all the glory and honour

My story is changed
Since my family decided to be part of this ministry, we have experienced many changes
and transformations. We became members of this church in March 2009 with a debt of
over R23,000 and so many unsettled, frustrating matters. But I want to thank God
that before the end of June 2009, we were able to pay all debts. My wife also got
a full bursary for her programme. All conferences and workshop that I attended in
2009 were fully sponsored (this was unlike 2008 that I was unable to attend any conference
for lack of sponsors and financial support).
One other challenge that I was confronted
with was in my academic programme.
For no justified reason my supervisor was not reading through my work nor was he concerned about my progress. It was really frustrating. During the November and December prayer conferences, I tabled this matter before God. That was the turning point. My supervisor suddenly became eager for me to complete my programme. He started reading through my word veraciously. He even gave me a large amount of money to assist me to complete the programme. This was unimaginable. This is certainly the hand of the Lord. To God be all the glory and I appreciate our pastor for the good work the Lord is using him to do.

Best thing ever
I want to say that being a part of this ministry is the best thing that has ever happened to me since I arrived South Africa in 2007. Since I came here I have been attending churches and God was also meeting my needs but my encounter with Pastor Robert changed every story of my life.
I am an international student on a PHD programme here. With 80% of my research work completed, there was need for me to proceed to Germany to finish up. Until then I was being sponsored by the German and the South Africa governments. One of them backed-off from sponsorship and that was when I came to the end of the road. It was a huge set back. I prayed, fasted and trusted God.
It was at the November 2009 prayer conference that I wrote the issue as the first thing on my request and God answered my prayer. In one of the services the Pastor said that that thing that God wants to do, He will do it speedily. I believed that word. I applied for the Germany Visa and with my uncompleted document, I was given the Visa. My faculty also agreed to sponsor my trip. I am presently in Germany. Indeed God sent Pastor Robert to restore colour and dignity to humanity. I am a beneficiary.
